Dry and warm conditions will persist through Saturday. A dry front will bring gusty winds to the area Saturday afternoon, strongest east of the Cascades. A much cooler and unsettled weather pattern is expected Sunday through Tuesday. Temperatures will feel more like early April, and widespread rainfall is expected. There will be a 15-20 % chance of thunderstorms, mainly on Monday. Snow levels will lower to 4500-5000 ft, but with low snow amounts in the forecast combined with recent warmth, winter impacts will be minimal, if any at all.
The temperatures may be warming up, but area rivers and streams still run cold! Follow these safety tips if you plan on taking a dip, and ensure you make it out of the water safe and sound.
